Under clear skies and perfect snow conditions, Sofia Goggia (ITA) won the Val d’Isère Super-G in 1:20.24, ahead of Alice Robinson (NZL, +0.15) and Lindsey Vonn (USA, +0.36). An emotional victory for Goggia, who reacted to her disappointing downhill on Saturday: “Yesterday was really emotional. I cried for an hour in my hotel room. I felt so much pain for the chance I threw away.” Camille Cerutti (FRA, 5th) was the surprise of the day, while Romane Miradoli (8th) and Cornelia Hütter (6th) confirmed their consistency. Goggia: A Cathartic Victory

After a disappointing downhill on Saturday (21st place), Goggia turned her frustration into energy: “When I crossed the finish line, I didn’t think my time would hold for the win, maybe not even for the podium. Robinson: A "Dream Podium" Despite Regrets

Alice Robinson (2nd) shared her emotions: “It was so cool to share the podium with Sofia and Lindsey. A dream podium.” Despite some frustration at the finish (“I was a bit annoyed because it was so close, and I thought I could have done better”), she admits that “this kind of course isn’t always my strongest point.”
