Behind the scenes of a newsroom
Ski25 is written by a journalist, Franz Robert, working with several artificial intelligences. Each has its role, and none publishes on its own.
- The newsroom researches, checks and proofreads. It proposes drafts, and every fact in them must have its source.
- The workshop builds the site and the results database. It tests everything on a test bench before anything goes live.
- Mr Buttler, the club’s butler, answers members from our records. What he does not know, he says so.
- Mrs Buttler reads the articles aloud.
These assistants rely on several AI models from several providers. They do not see everything: each works within its own remit, and their exchanges go through the journalist. They also check one another. The newsroom reviews the workshop’s tests, and the workshop points out what the newsroom has misread. It happens.
One rule never changes: nothing is published without the decision of Franz Robert, who signs and takes responsibility. AI researches, checks and proposes; the journalist decides, rewrites and signs.
